Renewable Energy Society’s Charity Fair
RES raised £50 for Surfers Against Sewage from their Christmas Crafts Fair in the Exchange earlier in the week.
Don’t DisAbility show great minds think-alike through the power of cake
Don’t DisAbility Society also raised money for charity through their own bake sale in the Compass this week.
They sold cakes in aid of mental health charity, Mind Carrick.
GeogSoc host 150 at Christmas Soiree
GeogSoc hosted their annual Christmas Soiree at Palacio Lounge this week. It was a black-tie affair which saw 150 guests party the night away at one of Falmouth’s most stylish venues.
With a range of delicious tapas dishes, guests were treated to performances from FXU’s Jazz Harbour and Chorus in what was a massively successful event for GeogSoc!

Collaborate with the Anchor for Give It A Go Week!
The Falmouth Anchor will be launching ‘Collaboration Week’ to coincide with Give It A Go from the 22nd – 26th January 2018. A collaborative effort between the Anchor and FXU societies to produce articles on a variety of topics throughout the entire week.
